At the 2018 People’s Choice Awards, Nicki Minaj flirted with Michael B. Jordan in a direct and to the point manner. After winning the award for Top Female Artist of 2018, Minaj thanked Donatella Versace for her dress and then said, “And shout-out to Michael B. Jordan ’cause he’s gonna be taking it off of me tonight,” while winking and sticking her tongue out. In an E! News interview, Minaj admitted that she had only met Jordan once before at the Met Gala and that she was inspired after watching him in Black Panther. Although it could be argued that Minaj was truly attracted to Jordan and used Black Panther as an excuse, these days she is married to Kenneth Petty and would likely stay away from public flirting.
