Fans of the 42-year-old singer declared she is “literally aging backwards” after she shared a smoldering selfie on Instagram Tuesday. She captioned the post, “Somedays ya just have to feel your intention and let it shine.”
In the photo, Simpson rocked a black coat with a fur collar and accessorized with necklaces. Her blond hair was styled in loose curls and her perfect pout was accentuated with a slick of pink lip gloss. She completed her makeup look with highlighter, rosy blush and fake eyelashes.
Fans praised Simpson’s look, with one commenting, “This is the early 2000s Jessica and I’m here for it.” Another chimed in, “Still looks 21 beautiful.” Others kept their messages short and sweet, with one follower writing, “MOTHERRRR” and another simply commenting, “SLAAAAAYYYYYYYY.”
Simpson has stepped out in several stunning ensembles in recent weeks, including a pair of daring lace up leather pants at JFK Airport. She paired the pants with towering Versace platform boots, gold aviator sunglasses from the same label and an emerald green cropped jacket. She added multiple bracelets, stacked rings, and necklaces, including two chunky crosses around her neck.
The “Newlyweds” alum also showed off her toned physique in a yellow mini dress by Rebecca Vallance earlier this month. The mother of three has been open about her weight loss journey over the past two decades, revealing she “went to a nutritionist” and switched up her diet back in 2019. She told “Extra” at the time that she has “a lot more energy” and gets to wear all the clothes that she saved for her daughters.
