Jimmie Allen and Alexis Gale have announced that they are separating after two years of marriage, despite the fact that Gale is pregnant with their third child together. In a joint statement posted to Instagram, the couple said that their “number one priority is and always will be ensuring that [their] children are healthy, happy and loved.” They already share daughters Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1, in addition to Allen’s son, Aadyn, 8, from a previous relationship.
The “Dancing With the Stars” alum, 37, and the nurse, 27, secretly married in a private ceremony in June 2020 and threw a larger wedding in Pennsylvania in May 2021. Allen admitted in August 2021 that he “never wanted to get married” until he met Gale. He said that she changed his mind and gave him “some security.”
The estranged couple asked for “privacy during this time” in light of the news of their “growing family.” It remains to be seen whether divorce papers are now being drafted up.
