Kim Kardashian seemingly breaks down in tears in the Season 3 trailer for “The Kardashians” over her split from Pete Davidson. In a confessional, the reality star is asked if she was still in a relationship with Davidson last season, to which she replies “I was? Damn.” The footage then cuts to Kim walking into a room with her sister Khloé Kardashian as her voiceover says “things change really quickly.” Kim admits that she’s “not OK” in the emotional footage and Khloé hugs her as she sobs.
Kim and the “Saturday Night Live” alum dated for nine months before calling it quits. It’s unclear whether the Skims founder was specifically getting emotional over the comedian or referencing another ex addressed in the video – her ex-husband Kanye West. Later in the trailer, Kim reflects on finalizing her divorce from the rapper, which took place in November 2022. She tells her mom Kris Jenner that West has “made up the most insane narrative” about their split and gets emotional again explaining why she has stayed “silent” for their kids’ sake.
West and Kardashian started dating in 2012, getting engaged the following year. They tied the knot in 2014 and were married for nearly seven years before Kim filed for divorce. The former couple has recently experienced several public feuds, with West slamming his ex for “antagonizing” him and giving him “no say in our childrens [sic] lives” after their eldest daughter joined TikTok.
Season 3 of “The Kardashians” premieres May 25 on Hulu.
