BUZZ: Lance Bass Reveals Increased Earnings After *NSYNC Split: “We Were Famous, Not Rich”

Lance Bass, a former member of one of the biggest boy bands in the world, *NSYNC, recently revealed that he made “way more” money after the group disbanded than he did while he was a part of it. He attributed this to their former manager, Lou Pearlman, who took “all of their money” and perpetuated a $300 million Ponzi scheme. Pearlman was convicted of fraud in 2008 and died in prison in 2016.

Despite the financial troubles the band went through, Bass said he had an “incredible” time with his bandmates. He recalled that they formed a “great support system” and that they kept each other “down to earth.”

Since the group’s indefinite hiatus in 2002, Bass has dabbled in various business ventures, including launching two of his own production companies, investing in Rocco’s bar in West Hollywood, and even launching a cocktail mixer. He also starred in the 2001 film “On the Line” and currently hosts his own podcast “Frosted Tips.”
