Lea Michele recently revealed that her son, Ever, is “doing well” after he was hospitalized multiple times last month for “scary” health issues. At the Time100 Gala in New York City on Wednesday, the actress told People that he is “doing good” and that they still have “a little bit of a long road ahead of us here.” She credited her husband, Zandy Reich, and her “Funny Girl” castmates for getting her through the tough time.
Michele was at the event to celebrate being named one of Time Magazine’s most influential people this year. She said of her partner, “He’s here tonight. The last event that he was this excited for was the NFL Honors!”
The actress previously revealed on Instagram that she had to miss a Broadway performance to be with Ever as he received medical care for an unknown health condition. She wrote, “We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for.” Earlier this month, Ever was hospitalized again and Michele shared via Instagram Stories that it had been a “hard day.” She asked her fans for “love and strength” but has not yet commented on the nature of Ever’s hospitalizations.
Michele and Reich welcomed Ever in August 2020 after a “very intense, very scary” pregnancy. Despite her previous pregnancy complications and “some heartbreaks” while trying to conceive, the couple have expressed interest in expanding their family further. They got married in 2019 after dating for nearly two years.
