Kate Hudson is working on her tan this summer.
The 44-year-old spent her Memorial Day Weekend lounging by the pool with her kids — and without her top.
“Suns out, buns (and huns) out ☺️☀️ #summerready,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram.
In one of the snaps, the “Almost Famous” actress, who donned red ombré bikini bottoms and a wide-brimmed hat, buried her face in a book while standing near the edge of the pool.
Hudson strategically used the novel — and a blue heart emoji — to cover her bare chest as she took in the summer rays without having to worry about a tan line.
In another photo, the actress put her backside on full display while making her way to the water in the barely-there bottoms.
While some fans called Hudson’s decision to go topless around her children “tacky,” others praised her for embracing her body.
“I had a child around the same time as you & do not look like that 🙌 shake that money maker!!!” one of her 17 million followers commented.
“You got it…flaunt it!” another added, while a third wrote, “Are you kidding me? I have had a crush on you for more than 20 years and you are getting prettier every year!”
In response to her brother Oliver Hudson, who urged the actress not to share such scantily clad snaps, Kate warned that she has more in store this summer.
“Summers just begun Oliver… it’s gonna get wild,” she replied. “You should unfollow.”
While Hudson is clearly comfortable baring it all online, the same can’t be said for the big screen.

Last year, the actress revealed she had been dreading her now-iconic bikini scene in “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
In fact, Hudson made some major diet changes before filming, cutting out all alcohol before stripping down on camera.
“While everyone else was having Aperol Spritzes in Greece, I was just waiting for that scene to be shot so I could just join everybody,” she told “This Morning” viewers in December 2022.
“Everybody was having a great time,” Hudson continued. “I was like, ‘I’ll take that cucumber and feta.’”
