Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, put an end to speculation that their relationship is on the rocks by stepping out together on Friday night. The couple were photographed wearing matching outfits in New York City as rumors of Sweeney’s alleged fling with her “Anyone But You” co-star Glen Powell heat up online.
Sweeney, 25, wore a tight black mini-dress, knee-high leather boots, an oversized leather jacket and silver hoop earrings. Davino, 38, also opted for a leather jacket and paired it with a black T-shirt, pants and dress shoes. The couple did not show any PDA but appeared in relatively good spirits with Davino gently putting his hand on Sweeney’s back at one point.
Earlier in the night, Sweeney hosted an Armani event at the Gansevoort hotel rooftop as she’s the face of the new fragrance My Way. An eyewitness told Page Six exclusively that Sweeney “had a lot of handlers and security around her” and “wasn’t drinking and seemed to want to stay very low key and under the radar.”
Although it is unclear if Davino was at the Armani event, Sweeney was seen spending time with newlyweds Chris Appleton and Lukas Gage. Fans have been speculating that Sweeney and Powell may have had a fling ever since his girlfriend Gigi Paris unfollowed her on Instagram. Paris, 30, fueled the split rumors even more earlier this week by sharing a cryptic post, which she captioned, “Know your worth & onto the next.”
Aside from acting together, Powell and Sweeney spent a lot of time together off set in Australia while filming their new rom-com. The pair also cozied up to Powell’s family during a trip to the zoo and Sweeney hasn’t been wearing her engagement ring lately. However, the photos of Sweeney sans her symbolic jewelry are not what they seem because the last time she was pictured with her massive rock was in October 2022.
