Could Matty Healy really be Taylor Swift’s new “Lover?” Rumors of a romance between the two musicians have been circulating since they were spotted on a late-night hangout in Nashville over the weekend. Photos obtained by the DailyMail show Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, in a car together following the singer’s second sold-out stadium concert in the Tennessee capital Saturday night.
Healy, who held his hand up to his face, appeared to be sporting the same bracelets he was wearing when he was spotted taking in Swift’s concert at Nissan Stadium Friday night. Eagle-eyed fans noticed the “Chocolate” singer standing in the VIP tent at the Grammy winner’s show with stars like Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge, who are close pals with Swift.
Furthermore, fans also theorized that the pair were sending secret messages to each other during their recent concerts. While on stage Friday night, the “Bad Blood” singer coyly looked at the camera and mouthed, “This is about you, you know who you are. I love you.” The cryptic moment was caught on video – with Swifties quickly realizing that Healy had mouthed the exact same words during his May 3 concert in the Philippines.
The Sun reported that the two musicians had started dating, with insiders claiming to the outlet that the duo were “madly in love,” despite being in a relationship for only two months. Healy and Swift were first linked almost a decade ago when the musician wore a tee featuring the cover artwork for Swift’s pop album, “1989,” during a 2014 concert. Days later, Swift returned the favor when she attended a 1975 concert in Los Angeles with Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding, while wearing a black tank top with Healy’s band’s name written on it.
Swift’s rumored relationship with the British singer is hot on the heels of her split from actor Joe Alwyn. The longterm couple broke up in February after dating for six years. However, an insider told Page Six that there was no bad blood. “It wasn’t dramatic,” the insider said last month, adding that their relationship “just ran its course.”
