Tom Sandoval has recently announced that he is taking a “break” from alcohol following the fallout from his scandalous affair with Raquel Leviss. At a performance with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, in Long Island, NY, Thursday, he shared with the audience that it had been one month since his last drink. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause in support of his decision.
The Bravo star’s decision to become sober came after his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, found out that he was cheating on her with Leviss. Madix was blindsided by the cheating and had no idea there were any issues in their relationship. Both Leviss and Sandoval apologized to Madix, but have continued to see each other after the affair became public. Last month, however, the bar owner revealed that he and the former beauty queen were “taking a break” from their romance.
Madix has since moved on with personal trainer Daniel Wai. The two first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted kissing at Coachella and have been seen together on several occasions since then.
Sandoval has continued to focus on his music despite the scandal. His band is currently on tour, but they are having trouble selling tickets. Days prior to Thursday’s performance, the theater sent out an email promoting a “2-for-1 ticket special.”
The affair between Sandoval and Leviss is currently playing out on Season 10 of “Vanderpump Rules,” which airs Wednesdays on Bravo.
