Exploring Miley Cyrus' Life After Her Divorce and Reflections on Her Childhood Acting Career

Since her childhood, Miley Cyrus has been living in the public eye due to her father’s fame and his famous friends, such as her godmother Dolly Parton. Before her own celebrity status, Miley was not widely known. Even after appearing in her dad Billy Ray Cyrus’ show “Doc,” she was still relatively unknown. However, when she was 12 years old, she was cast in the lead role of Disney’s “Hannah Montana,” a show about a teenage girl (Miley Stewart) who leads a double life as a pop star (Hannah Montana). This propelled Miley to stardom.

Miley’s fame skyrocketed when “Hannah Montana” began airing and, at only 13 years old, this must have been overwhelming for her. The “Hannah Montana” franchise also brought in a great deal of money for Disney and Miley herself. According to Forbes, the show, films, soundtracks, tours, books, video games, and merchandise helped Miley earn an impressive $134 million by the time she turned 18. Disney also made a billion dollars from the franchise between 2006 and 2011. This was just the beginning of Miley’s career and not the peak.
