Kathryn Hahn stars in Hulu’s upcoming series “Tiny Beautiful Things” as Clare, a floundering writer whose life is in disarray. Her marriage is on the rocks, her teenage daughter despises her, and her once-promising writing career is now non-existent. However, she gets a chance to turn things around when she unexpectedly lands a gig as an advice columnist for Dear Sugar. This leads her on a journey of self-reflection, forcing her to confront her unresolved issues and rewrite her life story.
The series is based on Cheryl Strayed’s best-selling collection of the same name, and Strayed serves as an executive producer alongside Hahn. Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern are also producers, having previously worked with Strayed on “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail”. Strayed commented that she was honored Hahn said yes to the role, describing her as “funny and deep and vulnerable and smart and exceptional”.
