Mark Ballas to Retire from Dancing with the Stars After Final Performance

Mark Ballas has announced that he is leaving the professional dance floor of “Dancing with the Stars” after the show’s most recent season and tour have ended. Before his final performance with Charli D’Amelio, Ballas expressed his gratitude to the audience and clarified that this is not the end, but rather the last time he will be dancing with a partner. During his five-year hiatus, Ballas pursued his music career and created music with his wife BC Jean for their band. He may have the opportunity to stay in the “DWTS” world, though he is not interested in competing, as a potential replacement for former head judge Len Goodman. In 2017, Ballas took a break from the show to star as Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” on Broadway. He expressed his emotions in a handwritten letter posted to Twitter, expressing his sadness at leaving the show but looking forward to his new venture.
