Pete Davidson's New Series "Bupkis" Revealed in First-Look Photos Showcasing His Real Life

Pete Davidson’s upcoming Peacock comedy series, “Bupkis,” is set to be a “heightened, fictionalized version” of his real life. On October 14, 2022, Peacock released a first-look photo of the series featuring Davidson and Academy Award-winner Joe Pesci, who plays the comedian’s grandfather. Further first-look photos were released on March 15, featuring guest stars such as Kenan Thompson and Chase Sui Wonders, as well as Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco as Davidson’s mother.

The series is being produced by Broadway Video, with Davidson writing and executive producing alongside showrunner Judah Miller, Dave Sirus, executive producers Andrew Singer and Erin David, and director/co-executive producer Jason Orley. It marks the second semi-autobiographical project for Davidson, following 2020’s “The King of Staten Island,” which was loosely based on his family dynamic and mental health journey.

Given Davidson’s high-profile relationships, including his recent ones with Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski, as well as his 2022 exit from “SNL,” there is plenty of material to draw from for the series. “Bupkis” is set to premiere in spring 2022.
