Rihanna once again showed fans that she is a force to be reckoned with on the stage when she performed her Oscar-nominated single “Lift Me Up” from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack at the March 12 ceremony. She dazzled in a black and crystal top with trousers and long latex gloves, and was accompanied by gospel singers and a live orchestra. As she concluded the song, the cameras cut to her partner, A$AP Rocky, in the audience, who raised his Champagne glass in a toast.
This marked Rihanna’s first-ever Oscar nomination, and it looks like it’s going to be a big year for her. In addition to her performance at the Oscars, she recently headlined the Super Bowl LVII halftime show and revealed she’s expecting her second child with Rocky. She has also been back in the studio working on new music.
