Zachary Levi, Rachel Zegler, and Lucy Liu have all made their mark in the DC universe with their roles in the new movie “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”. However, when it comes to who makes the best Batman, they don’t agree. Seven actors have played the Dark Knight on the silver screen, but each of the DC actors has a different favorite. Levi admitted he hasn’t seen the most recent version, “The Batman”, but he did say he thinks Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz are “so talented”. Zegler also admitted she hasn’t seen “Batman vs. Superman”, but she does love Ben Affleck as Batman. Liu is a fan of The Dark Knight Trilogy and Christian Bale in particular.
In “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”, Levi returns as Shazam/Billy, a superhero character that Asher Angel’s character turns into when he says “Shazam!”. The sequel sees Billy and his foster kid friends coming to terms with their superhero alter egos, until a trio of ancient gods come to take away their powers. Levi channels his inner teenager to inhabit the role, but he wouldn’t want to go back to that age in real life.
