How The Secret Helped Me Marry The Person I Loved. – My Story

First of all, thank you so much to my friend, Ashutosh, who introduced me to this beautiful work by Rhonda Byrne that helped me to overcome the biggest hurdle of my life! And here is how it happened.

When I started reading The Secret book, I was going through a lot of family trouble, and at the same time, I had started falling for my best friend. The biggest hurdle in marrying him was that he came from a different caste and that was strictly off bounds for an orthodox Indian family like ours. But reading The Secret made me realize that I could change this. That I could definitely live my life the way I wanted to, and with the person I wanted to.

So I started sharing The Secret with my then-boyfriend and now partner. And then we both together started literally living The Secret. We started painting our lives together with everything that we wanted. Like the house we would want, the kids we would have, and what not! We had even imagined the name of our first kid, Srushti, which means the Universe in Hindi! We definitely struggled initially to convince my parents for this marriage but the law of attraction does work and all our energy was focused on getting married to each other! So that is exactly what happened after a few months of convincing them. We got married, and our daughter Srushti is now 2 years and 2 months old!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
