Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are repeating their parts as Anastasia Steele and Christian Gray. A few supporting characters from the primary film are back, including Marcia Gay Harden as Christian’s mom and Victor Rasuk as Ana’s companion José. There are a few new characters that will show up, including Kim Basinger as Christian’s ex Elena (who acquainted him with BDSM), Bella Heathcote as his later ex, Leila, and Eric Johnson as Ana’s new manager, Jack Hyde.

In light of the second novel in creator E.L. James‘ set of three, the motion picture will get where the initially finished, with Ana and Christian separated. As they accommodate and attempt to make their, er, unusual relationship work, Christian’s exes and Anastasia’s manager begin making things troublesome. Same sex, yet now with more interest!
