75-Year-Old Woman Who Set Family Ablaze in Ondo State Dies

Iforiti Olowo, a 75-year-old grandmother, has passed away in an undisclosed hospital after setting her son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren on fire in Akure South local government area of Ondo State. The elderly woman had sustained some degree of burns in the blaze. Neighbors had broken into the house through the window, rescuing Victor Oloro, his wife Rachael and their children Toluwani and Blessing, who were then rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Owo for medical attention. Sadly, Victor and his wife passed away while their children are still receiving treatment. Mrs. Olowo had confessed to burning her son and his family, claiming that they were starving her. A police investigator has confirmed her death, and a resident has also confirmed the development.
