Adamu Abdullahi Loses Re-Election Bid in His Polling Unit in Nasarawa

Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was defeated in his polling unit during the rescheduled Governorship and State House of Assembly elections. The GRA (A1) Polling Unit 010, located in Keffi, the headquarters of Keffi local government area of the State, saw the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polling a total of 159 votes, while the APC only managed 129 votes. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) received one vote, while the Labour Party (LP) surprisingly got zero votes. This was a stark contrast to the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections, in which Adamu had lost to the Labour Party.
