Ayra Starr, a Nigerian singer signed to Mavin Records, recently revealed in an interview in Kenya that she graduated from university at the age of 18. She explained that her mother had insisted she get a degree before beginning her music career. The 20-year-old also shared that she wrote her WAEC exams a year before she was supposed to finish secondary school and passed with excellent results, gaining admission to study International Relations and Political Science at a higher institution in Benin Republic. Despite her busy schedule, Ayra Starr is currently taking French classes, piano and music lessons in order to further her education. Watch her full interview below:
