Cardi B’s new tattoo is finally done.
On Friday, the Grammy-winning rapper showed off her giant new ink, which wraps from her back to her thigh, and features colorful florals, a butterfly, and a hummingbird.
“Okay guys! Soooo here it is!” said Cardi. “It took me several months but I’m finally finished. This is my back tattoo! It goes from the top of my back to the middle of my thigh. Thank you @jamie_schene.”
The giant garland tattoo was done by Jamie Schene of Union3Tattoo and took over 60 hours to complete in more than 10 cities.
“Thank you @iamcardib ! 60+ hours, more than 10 cities, it was an awesome project and a crazy experience,” Schene wrote on Instagram. “Thanks for the dedication, strength, and hospitality. Lara and I appreciate you and your family.”
Cardi is no stranger to tattoos. She already has a large peacock tattoo that stretches from her waist to her thigh, as well as a tat with Offset’s name under her thigh. Offset also has a tattoo of his wife’s name on his lower neck.
