As the country slowly reopens following weeks of social distancing and strict quarantine orders, creative forms of entertainment birthed during the shutdown remain. Millions enjoyed new and old content made available on streaming platforms and participated in virtual dance challenges – but one of the most popular moments was courtesy of celebrity disc jockey, DJ D-Nice. He created his popular virtual dance party, “Club Quarantine.”
Nice is now the headlining DJ for Budweiser’s new temporary digital campaign for COVID-19, where he will provide music as celebrities tune in for interactions with fans.
Budweiser unveils COVID-19 campaign
Budweiser has unveiled a new campaign in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The beer brand has revised it’s iconic “whassup” commercial to encourage Americans to stay in touch with loved ones while prioritizing social distancing to slow the spread of the virus.
To launch the campaign, Budweiser has enlisted the help of celebrities and influencers where they will go live with a fresh beer and answer questions submitted by fans. Every day at 6 PM EST, viewers can tune into Budweiser’s Instagram channel for giveaways, live chats, and challenges.
A new celebrity will participate in the chat every Thursday. As part of the initiative, Budweiser is making a donation to the Salvation Army to help meet the needs of those impacted by COVID-19.

DJ D-Nice has a new following after his “Club Quarantine” parties
With the number of new fans Nice has amassed as a result of his quarantine parties, there’s no telling what surprise guests will pop in to say “whassup.” His debut virtual club attracted over 100,000 viewers and has grown since. Other DJ’s and music heads, including Quest Love of The Roots, have also followed suit.

Along with everyday people who tuned in while under stay at home orders across the country, his new movement has attracted the likes of Rihanna, Halle Berry, Drake, Will Smith, J.Lo, and Janet Jackson. Even major political figures including the Obamas are huge fans and dropped comments in his live.
Nice has made the movement his signature gig under quarantine and has partnered with other brands and stars to help in providing entertainment mixed with education during this time.
Along with the new Budweiser partnership, Nice has partnerships with Spotify for their music streaming subscribers, a revival of MTV’s Club MTV, and a partnership with former First Lady Michelle Obama for a virtual voting party.
