Soldiers providing security for the governorship and House of Assembly elections in Enugu State have reportedly arrested 140 thugs with arms and ammunition in Nsukka, a university town in the Nsukka Local Government Area.
The political thugs were apprehended at a Carolina hotel in Enugu North Senatorial District, with weapons that indicated they were planning to disrupt the elections.
Additionally, three more hoodlums were arrested at the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Nsukka.
