Igbo Woman Disheartened After Parents Disapprove of Her Intended Marriage to Yoruba Fiancé

Iyke Nwabuko recently revealed that the targeted electoral violence in Lagos state is having a negative effect on intertribal relationships. He shared the story of a heartbroken Igbo girl who was devastated when her family called off her marriage plans with her eagerly awaited boyfriend. The man was supposed to come for the introductory rights, but the family barred him from doing so. Iyke wrote, “Babe has cried her eyes out. wahala de o!
