Yabagi Sani, the Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council and African Development Party, has called on the Department of State Service to take action against those responsible for the plot to install an interim government in the country. He expressed his disapproval of the DSS’s announcement of the plot, saying that it should have named the plotters and taken action against them. Sani believes that law enforcement agencies should demonstrate that no one is above the law, citing the example of Donald Trump’s attempted interruption of Joe Biden’s inauguration in the United States. He asked what citizens can do if law enforcement agencies fail to take action.
