Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson of the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, has responded to the petition filed by Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate, at the election petition tribunal. Keyamo made his reaction known in a post on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday. Obi had officially filed a suit on Tuesday at the tribunal to challenge the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the president-elect, citing non-adherence to the constitution and the electoral act, among other reasons.
Keyamo expressed his excitement about the issues raised in the election petitions and stated that all the lies and misinformation about simple and clear issues will be exposed in court. He also said that anyone who continues to argue after that should relocate to another planet. He further stated that Nigerians will be able to distinguish between calm and dispassionate adjudication of issues and all the hoopla caused by garrulous spokespersons, ignorant TV hosts, misinformed documentaries, illiterate tweeps, and some dancing Hijabi mamas.
