John Ondera has been sentenced to life in prison by a court in Winam, Kenya for defiling his 3-year-old daughter. Principal Magistrate Chrispine Oruo gave the judgement after determining that the prosecution had proven its case beyond any reasonable doubt. In making his decision, the magistrate took into account the accused’s relationship with the victim, the victim’s age, and the medical report from the doctor. The Office of The Director Of Public Prosecutions reported that the prosecution, led by Mwende Kavindu, presented 6 witnesses and successfully established the case against Ondera.
