On Monday, March 27, police operatives of the Enugu command rescued a 10-year-old who had been abducted from the Enugu-Ezike community. Daniel Ndukwe, the police spokesperson in the state, reported that the minor was found at around 11 p.m., after the abductors had been forced to abandon her due to the pressure from the police. Ndukwe stated that four masked and armed men had taken the child from her home in Ukwuinyi Ogrute area of Enugu-Ezike on Sunday, but she was thankfully reunited with her parents.
