Ohanaeze Ndigbo Criticizes Simon Ekpa for Imposing Sit-at-Home Order in Lagos

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has strongly condemned Simon Ekpa for issuing a sit-at-home order in Lagos State. Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the body’s Secretary-General, has called the order reckless and a joke taken too far. He believes that Ekpa is attempting to incite a conflict between the Igbo and Yoruba people due to his inability to prevent the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, from winning in the Southeast. Isiguzoro blames the Nigerian Government for Ekpa’s continued actions, citing their failure to arrest him as a suspected international terrorist. In a statement, Isiguzoro said that Ekpa and his gang are responsible for the deaths of innocent citizens and security personnel in the South East and should be extradited to face the consequences of their actions.
