A video of thugs warning people in Fadeyi, Lagos to not leave their homes if they do not plan to vote for the ruling APC party in the upcoming governorship elections has been circulating online. In the video, the thugs can be seen walking together in an otherwise empty street while making their threats. “If you don’t vote APC, don’t come outside,” they warned. This is yet another threat from thugs supporting the APC, following a series of attacks on candidates of other parties and a particularly concerning statement from MC Oluomo who said Igbos should stay at home if they will not vote for the APC. The Nigerian Police Force Spokesperson, Adejobi Olumuyiwa, later dismissed Oluomo’s threat as a joke. To watch the latest threat, check out the video below.
