Principal photography for the long-awaited Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is currently taking place in Australia.

Leaked set photos and video from the Marvel Studios' film set in Sydney have surfaced online. Both originate from footage that aired on an Australian evening news report. They show heavy security for a helicopter sequence filmed in one of the city's parks, with a mysterious masked figure seen hanging from the aircraft.

While plot details for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film are currently under wraps, the movie will reportedly have the martial arts superhero enter a fighting tournament before confronting the villainous Mandarin and other sinister figures introduced into the MCU.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige previously assured fans that the film would be "much more than a kung-fu movie," without divulging specifics. Worth noting is the fact that director Destin Daniel Cretton's claimed that the movie would draw influences from The Matrix.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings stars Simu Liu, Tony Leung and Awkwafina. The film hits theaters Feb. 12, 2021.
