Rising star Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, has opened up about the motivation behind his hit track ‘Who’s Your Guy’. In an interview with Punch, the musician revealed that he always seeks God’s guidance before releasing any of his songs. He believes that there is a spiritual and physical part to everything and he makes sure to take the spiritual part seriously.
Spyro went on to explain that it was Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut who reached out to him about doing a remix of the song. He chose to collaborate with Tiwa because he knew she would bring a lot of value to the track. He spoke highly of her, saying she is an incredible person with a kind heart and is passionate about what she does.
The singer finally revealed that ‘Who’s Your Guy’ was originally a love song he recorded as a freestyle in 2021. However, when he decided to release it in 2022, he revamped it to make it more relatable to a wider audience. He explained that it isn’t just about lovers, but can also refer to family and friends.
