Production is formally underway for season two of Big Little Lies. After a lot anticipation – and a few exciting new additions to the forged – our prayers have been answered and we lastly have a sneak peek of what’s to return. On Thursday, Zoë Kravitz (Bonnie Carlson) shared an Instagram selfie on set, writing, “Bonnie’s. Back. #BLL2.” Moments later, Shailene Woodley (Jane Chapman) adopted swimsuit with a snap of her own, captioning it, “JANES BACK. #letsdothis #BLL2.” Laura Dern was fast to observe along with her personal picture just a few days later.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reason HBO waited so long to substantiate the second season was as a result of it was discovering a brand new director. Jean-Marc Vallée, who directed the primary season, is now directing Sharp Objects. But don’t be concerned – American Honey director Andrea Arnold has signed on for season two. We cannot await much more enjoyable behind-the-scenes pictures!
