Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Rejoin Sweden National Team at Age 41 for Euro 2024

At the age of 41, legendary footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has rejoined the Swedish National team after a five-year absence. After missing Euro 2020 due to injury, the forward has made a comeback to club action with AC Milan and is now ready to contribute to the side. Manager Janne Andersson has stated that Ibrahimovic is in decent shape and can add something both on and off the pitch. He has only played three matches for Milan this season, with a total of 68 minutes, following surgery at the end of last year’s campaign. His last appearance for Sweden was against Poland in their World Cup qualification play-off in March 2022, where he came off the bench for 11 minutes. After his injury, he has been working on his rehabilitation for most of the season and made his return for Milan against Atalanta on February 26. He has since featured against Fiorentina and Salernitana.
