Bad Bunny Shares the Story Behind His Near-Miss at the 2021 Grammys Performance

James Corden is back with another episode of “Carpool Karaoke,” and this time the passenger seat is occupied by Bad Bunny. During the 29-year-old superstar’s appearance on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” on Tuesday, the two discussed the meaning behind Bad Bunny’s stage name, as well as why he almost missed his opening number at the Grammys this year. Bad Bunny revealed that he was running late due to LA traffic and was very anxious when he was two minutes away from the arena. To pass the time before the show, he decided to go home and work out, take a shower, and then go back. He said he learned a big lesson from that experience. The show went off without a hitch.

Bad Bunny sang some of his biggest hits, including “I Like It” and “Tití Me Preguntó,” as well as Harry Styles’s “As It Was” and Ariana Grande and Zedd’s “Break Free,” one of his personal favorites. He also got into the wrestling ring with Corden and WWE superstar Rey Mysterio to teach the late-night host some moves following Bad Bunny’s recent stint as a WWE 24/7 Champion. Despite being an open book during the episode, Bad Bunny did not address the recent rumors about his relationship with Kendall Jenner.
