BUZZ: Beyoncé’s lack of dancing on ‘Renaissance’ tour reignites foot surgery rumors

Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” world tour got off on the wrong foot.

As videos from the Grammy winner’s opening night performance in Stockholm went viral on social media Wednesday, many fans noticed her uncharacteristically restrained dancing, which reignited rumors that she underwent foot surgery.

While Beyoncé, 41, rocked a variety of sexy stage looks, from an Alexander McQueen catsuit to a bell-sleeved Anrealage gown, she mostly held back from doing her signature moves as backup dancers swirled around her.

Notably, the singer started the concert with “Dangerously in Love 2” and more ballads, as opposed to other fast-paced options.

“You can tell her she’s being extra careful with her foot (probably doc orders),” one Twitter user speculated.

Many called Queen Bey “reserved,” with another writing, “There is something DEFINITELY wrong with Beyoncé’s foot. She isn’t moving or dancing as much as she usually does. She still performing her ass off though.”

Page Six has reached out to Beyoncé’s rep for comment.

Rumors of the “Halo” vocalist battling an injury first surfaced in January when music journalist Gerrick Kennedy wrote in a since-deleted tweet that Beyoncé had undergone “foot surgery” prior to wowing a crowd in Dubai at the opening of the Atlantis The Royal hotel.

The performance, which took place six months after her “Renaissance” album release, was Beyoncé’s first since 2018.

With her ambitious 50-plus-date tour now underway, the former Destiny’s Child member will travel to London, Amsterdam and more European locations before returning home to the United States in July.

“Renaissance,” her seventh studio album, was released in July 2022.

In March of the following year later, Beyoncé revealed her high-fashion “wearable album” with Balmain, which she modeled on the April Vogue France cover.

“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” she gushed via Instagram.

“Thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself.”
