Dorit Kemsley, star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, recently switched up her look by going from blonde to brunette. Kemsley told Page Six Style at her Homeless Not Toothless Hollywood Gala Saturday night that she felt she needed a change. She explained that being a blonde was very high-maintenance and that she wanted something fresh and different. Social media comparisons to Ariana Grande came flooding in, but Kemsley clarified that the pop superstar wasn’t on her mind when she colored her hair.
Kemsley wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style at the charity event, complementing the slinky black gown she rocked on the red carpet. The event was held at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton and was meant to raise funds for veterans, the homeless, foster youth and low-income persons in LA to receive quality dental care. Paula Abdul was on hand to introduce the silent auction and special guest performer, Taylor Dayne, with Kemsley’s Homeless Not Toothless co-board members Sharon Stone and William H. Macy also present. The party was filmed for “Beverly Hills” Season 13, which has yet to receive a premiere date.
