“We feel outnumbered now.”
Just three days after announcing her split from country star Jimmie Allen, Alexis Gale, his estranged wife, posted a cryptic message about “silence” on her Instagram Story. “The silence is loud enough for me,” Gale wrote. It is unclear what she could be referring to since Allen has been quite active on social media promoting his new single, “be alright!”
The couple announced their split and that they were expecting their third child together on social media last week. They wrote in a joint statement that their “number one priority is and always will be ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved,” and that they remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.
The pair met in 2019 after being introduced through family members and secretly tied the knot one year later during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were finally able to celebrate with friends and family during a larger ceremony in May 2021.
Allen had previously admitted that he “never wanted to get married” until meeting Gale, but that she changed his mind. The couple share two children and have another on the way. Allen also has an 8-year-old son from a previous relationship.
Despite their split, the former couple remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another.
