In 2006, Stormy Daniels attended a golf tournament where she met Donald Trump for the first time. In a 2018 interview with “60 Minutes,” she recalled that their conversation started off with Trump talking about himself. Daniels was not particularly impressed, so she jokingly asked him to take off his pants and spanked him. She said that he then became a different person, asking her questions and their conversation becoming more appropriate. They then had consensual sex, and Trump asked her to join “The Apprentice,” which she did not take seriously. After their meeting at the hotel, Trump kept in contact with Daniels, inviting her to many of his events. However, the relationship ended around 2009 when Trump stopped contacting her.
