Julia Garner is still holding out hope that her dream of becoming a “Material Girl” will one day come true. When asked by Entertainment Tonight if she was still optimistic about the Madonna biopic, she replied, “Yeah, yeah,” and added, “I don’t want to tell too much. I want to keep things…fingers crossed.” Garner has already gone through a rigorous boot camp to secure the role, which included singing and reading with Madonna and participating in 11-hour dance sessions with the singer and her choreographer. Madonna has expressed her vision for the biopic, saying, “I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world.” With Garner’s enthusiasm and Madonna’s ambition, it’s clear that this project is far from over.
