Fast rising Yoruba actress and alleged ex-wife to actor Ibrahim Chatta, Olayinka Solomon has opened up on how she gets all the money she spends.
Coming after she recently acquired a mansion in Lagos and a new Sports Utility Vehicle, Benz GLK 350, tongues began to wag on social media, alleging that she might be doing something unusual to keep up with the good life.
Speaking to newsman, Gbolahan Adetayo, Olayinka said people should count her out among such Actresses as she legitimately work for her money.
According to her, “My achievement In the industry has been excellent and great. I am not new in the Industry, I have been around since my secondary school days. I came from a very rich family. My name is Olayinka, do you expect me to be poor? Obviously no. Away from acting, I have other businesses i am doing. I’m the CEO Olayinka Mart, It’s a mini supermarket. I travel and also buy different goods to sell when i am back in the country. I am not a fashionista,I wear what fit me and suitable for my body. We all have what we use our money for. Some are crazy about wearing good attires while mine is to invest and make more profits from my money. So, the issue of Actresses sleeping around to live a flamboyant life style, count me out.
I have been a landlord since my tender age. Go to Mushin and ask about my family, my father precisely, he died years back and I inherited valuable goods from him. As a young girl, I didn’t spend the inheritance lavishly and glory be to God almighty for where I am today. Olayinka Solomon is a young girl that depends on herself not men”, she blunts out.
Speaking on her relationship with Ibrahim Chatta,she said, “I have been in Nollywood since 2005 and I don’t think I have at a point go beyond my boundaries. Ibrahim Chatta is dynamic actor and a senior colleague I respect so much. I am not his wife or his former wife. He is a colleague and we are all professionals at what we do.
I have not at any point walked down the aisle with him and any reporter who is so sure of that should kindly show me our marriage certificate, the photos and the videos taken at the wedding ceremony. Nigerians just like to link things together. I am single but not searching, I have a man in my life. His identity is confidential to me.
I can’t wait to be with the love of my life and start a new life together has a couple. Sure, very soon you are going to know about him, probably during our wedding. Ibrahim Chatta is married with kids and I am sure he is enjoying his marriage. So, the rumour mongers should get in touch with the Lagos State government so as to get a new job as highway cleaners”, she said.
