Within weeks after this movie’s premiere, news broke that Timothée Chalamet is set to appear in a movie regarding the musician, Bob Dylan.

Now, this actor will be joining a slew of other performers who portrayed Bob Dylan throughout the years, including Christian Bale, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Cate Blanchett. Reportedly, Timothée Chalamet is cast in the title role of a soon-to-be released movie regarding Bob Dylan’s life.
According to Deadline, this upcoming film will be produced by Bob Dylan’s manager Jeff Rosen, “Veritas Entertainment Group’s Bob Bookman, Alan Gasmer and Peter Jaysen, Automatik’s Fred Berger, The Picture Company’s Alex Heineman, and Mangold. Dylan will be [an executive] producer, along with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Andrew Rona. Dylan’s music rights are part of the package.”
This biopic news comes hot off the heels of Rocketman’s Golden Globe win, the film describing the life of Elton John. Judy, the movie regarding the stage actress Judy Garland earned the Golden Globe for “Best Actress – Motion Picture – Drama.” Additionally, another movie that premiered in 2018, Bohemian Rhapsody, earned multiple Oscar nominations and wins. That includes “Best Actor” and “Best Film Editing.”
