Nancy, a 25-year-old Nigerian woman, recently opened up about her experience with her boyfriend of four years. In 2021, he was involved in an accident that left him hospitalized for 10 months. During this time, Nancy quit her job and took up an office assistant job closer to the hospital so she could be near him since both his parents had passed away and his sister was married. After eight months, he was able to walk again and Nancy accepted a high-paying job. This took a toll on their relationship as she was not available as before due to the nature of her current job.
One day, Nancy visited him to give him medication and saw another woman in his house. She left without any issues, but the next day he came to her house and yelled at her for not fighting for him. He embarrassed her in front of her roommates and accused her of not loving him if she didn’t do something to the other woman or him. Nancy is struggling to stay calm but is close to doing something bad to him.
