Governor Sani Urges Governors to Direct Anger towards President Buhari as Central Bank Governor Cannot Act without His Consent

This comes amidst the scarcity of the naira in the country, with some governors blaming the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele for the current hardship people are facing.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote: “Naira issues; The fact is that Malami and Emefiele can’t do anything without the consent of Buhari. Angry Governors should direct their anger to the right target.” This implies that President Muhammadu Buhari is ultimately responsible for the current situation, and that governors should focus their ire on him.
