Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has been arrested by the Ogun State police command after declining to respond to five invitations. The arrest comes days after videos of the artist cursing and manhandling some Nigerian police officers were posted online. Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that Portable is currently being held at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta. He will remain in police custody until Monday, when he will be taken to court.
