The fourth annual Bentonville Film Festival will open with the premiere of Elissa Down’s The Honor List. Directed by Down and written by Marilyn Fu, The Honor List is predicated on a narrative by Fu and Meghan Rienks. The movie stars Rienks, Pretty Little Liars alum Sasha Pieterse, Claws actress Karrueche Tran, and Teen Wolf‘s Arden Cho.
The movie follows former greatest mates who reunite when tragedy strikes earlier than their commencement. It is produced by sisters Mariel, Zoe, and Cisely Saldana’s Cinestar Pictures, together with Lionsgate and POPSUGAR Films (that is us!) with a crew of greater than 60 p.c girls. Truly a movie made by girls, for ladies, it explores the complexities of friendships, household, love, loss, and highschool. The Honor List might be launched digitally on May 11 and obtainable on DVD on May 15.
